The chair is comfortable and beautiful. Rough handling by the shipper is evident resulting in a large hole in the box and lots of tape to offset the damage to the box. The hole in the box resulted in a torn area on top of the backrest. The tear is one inch long and 1/16th of an inch wide so that it could be patched with transparent patching material which I ask to be sent to me rather than to send the chair back. I have photos but need a cell phone number to send the photos to.
Set up is fairly simple, the top snaps I to the bottom/ my issue was the feet that were sent do not fit, at all. The screws are too large to fit into the chair itself. The chair is extremely low to the ground without the feet, which makes it harder to get in/out of.
Description of chair felt a little deceiving with notes of full body (chair, not massaging feature). Massaging feature only is available in lumbar area with 8 odd pulsing features.
I wouldnt buy this again, or recommend to anyone seeking a recliner. I was hoping for something cozy that would avoid a trip to the furniture store, but unfortunately this just isnt it.
At the time of this review there was no way to contact the seller, just the option to return the item, and with as big and heavy as it is I didnt want to have to try and figure out how to get it to my local UPS store.
JUST got this chair this evening so this is just my first impressions.
First off I read many reviews and found a very mixed bag of too small Smaller then expected More like a kids chair and I found just as many reviews that said the complete opposite, many of those reviews were from people claiming to be 6 feet and over, and 200lbs and over.
Im here to tell you, this chair is smaller then expected, the moment I saw the box my heart sank a bit.
Assembly was a snap literally just snap the back to the base, connect the feet and viola instant chair however once I sat in it I knew this chair would not be the right fit for me (pardon the pun)
Im just under 5 foot 11, and weigh about 180lbs, the chair IS comfy, it feels sturdy, but when sitting in the chair my knees and legs are literally parallel to the arm rests, as in, I can lay my hands across an arm rest and be totally level with my knees and legs.
The massage (vibration only) seemed okay, I could feel it somewhat fine, despite what other reviews said no massage only the chair shook) the chair did NOT in any way shake
Last but not least, this chair is SHORT! description measurements put this chair seat at the same height as my GX Racing gaming chair, but in reality its a good 2/3 inches SHORTER.
Im only hoping I can use this chair for the next few months until I can afford what I should have gotten in the first place. then this chair will go to my kids, cause it DOES seem like a great chair for children but despite what other reviews claim NOT for adults (or anyone over 5 foot 7ish
This Chairs Massager is awful loud, barely works Cheap China Crap. I tried to return it and magically it was never picked up . Do not waste oue money! Also, not sure how but they removed my ability to return it Very Unhappy
It is on the smaller side which works really well in my bedroom. I use it as my nursing/pumping chair and the side pocket is great for storage for pump and the recline nice with baby!happy
