After reading the other reviews I was nurvous about buying this item. However I am very happy that I did! Got here fast, packaging was neat and orderly the hard wear was clearly labeled and the instructions were easy to follow. If you grew up building Legos this is an easy assemble its a giant Lego set. Only thing we noticed on the desk top the front holes do not line up. No big deal the back ones do and its not wobbly or uneven not a huge problem. Its not at all shaky like the others reviewd just make sure you go back and tighten the screws. Other then that pretty dang good item for the price! Buy away!
Easily could be 5 stars, but I gave it a 4 for two reasons. First, the bunk is very high. With 8 ceilings it doesnt leave a grown child much room. I wouldnt put a child much younger than 8 years old because of how high it is. It doesnt have much side to side support to keep the bunk from swaying back and forth a bit. Not a big deal, but like I said I wouldnt put a very small/young child up on the bunk. It takes time to put together, but overall is pretty easy. It does look great and it does provide ample room for sitting or sleeping on the futon.
I bought this from a friend and I was shocked how sturdy it is compared to other bunk beds our isnt wobbly or anything Considering buying another in a year or so for my kiddos that are too young for bunk beds at the moment
I put my bed below and use the top bunk as shelving over my bed. Upon assembly I left out the front railing for easy access to items. With a normal bed frame below, there is a fair clearance for your head when sitting up under the top bunk. Table is useful for TV remotes, drinks, books, etc. Perfect for what I am using it for. I do not use the later yet that is important to instal upon assembly for structure.
Ordered this Bunk Bed in Gray for my Son and his 7 year old son for week end stays. I shopped many stores in person and online prior to making this purchase. I saw many that were too flimsy and small diameter of rods to make the bed structure. Some had very little support in the top bunk for the mattress support also. I also noticed a lot of the beds bracing was very very limited and thin on the sides where the bed connected. Which made the bed wable more.
The bed and mattresses arrived promptly.
About an hour of set/up time.
I also ordered the black queen 8 Futon mattress and the black 6 Signature Sleep twin mattress. I was really surprised that the mattresses fit perfect! I am a Tempur Pedic gal so I was a little bit concerned about the feel and quality of the mattresses for the price, but I took a chance. I use regular twin mattress pad and sheets for the bunk and queen pad and sheets for the futon. My Son said he has really slept well on the Futon and my 7 year old grandson loves the bunk.
There is a little wobble in the bed when you go up the ladder but nothing that is concerning.
The height of our ceiling also in this room is 8 so you will need to be sure that you have a place to fit the bed that will have clearance of an overhead light or ceiling fan. Hope this helps.
This is my third one of these futon bunk beds. I have had different color combinations, but always this bed. I am so happy with these beds. They are durable and stable (so long as you follow directions and anchor the upper bunk to the wall with the included hardware). Folding the futon is super easy. We still have all three of these beds and they work great for our kids (we have four).
This one is slightly different than the other two that we have. But, the basics are the same and the quality is still there. I absolutely recommend these beds for kids rooms. Even for only one kid, so they can have a twin bed to sleep on and a sofa for their room that works as a bed when needed. Highly recommended.
Sharp and modern but the ladder is slim. We found the quaily to be worth the price. Was above my expectations My son gets up the ladder fine he just said its a little slim. I love the bed

You are only purchasing the bed frame itself. Having said this. This is a really nice bed frame. It is compact and a good space saver for small rooms. So if you are looking for a bed set up that does not take up a lot of room but is easy to set up and take down, then you should check into this bed frame set up. The ladder does lock in so no worries about it coming loose with kids climbing it up and down. Well made with all of the parts included to quickly set up. No uneven edges and sturdy.
