Sturdy and holds a lot of weight. Its holding our 20 gallon fish tank which is 225+ when filled. (Yes we tested the weight ahead of time). I wish the slide door had a way to latch shut or lock because my two year old wants to slide the door, but a quick diy solution solves that. Great table for us and very surprised by the structural strength.
For the price of this piece I expected genuine wood on at minimum the top and sides. All of the wood is particle board (glue and wood chips) with the exception of one piece which is MDF. The assembly process is quite involved and took me probably an hour to complete but thats not a big deal. Just pick a comfortable spot to do your assembly with a lot of room. My only other gripe is the stickers used to cover the cam bolts is huge and ugly. Doesnt match the grain very well. Would be better if they were smaller. All of that said. Once assembled you tend to forget that its cheap wood. Its very solid and sturdy. The bard door works very well. Just dont get it wet.
I purchased this for some additional storage in my home office, and I love it! The farmhouse is adorable and ties the whole look together in my office. I like the barn door that slides from side to side, because I can keep one side opened with cute decorative items and pictures on the shelves, and then keep storage stuff covered up behind the door on the other side.
Easy to put together, strong and durable materials, and such a cute look for a farmhouse/ or industrial/style room!
