The frame is easy to assemble. The slats are wooden, they look in the product picture because of the coating on one side. The weight limit listed on the product is incorrect due to the wooden slats. However customer service is very responsive and eager to fix issues.
I just took it out the box to put it together but Im already annoyed because the slats are wood with a carbon fiber loo sticker on the top part. The description and pictures make it seem like the entire slat is a material, not wood covered in a sticker. And the wood slats arent even sanded properly on the ends or underside. So be careful when ta them out the box and assembling because you can definitely get a splinter. This also draws concern for puncturing my new mattress or causing tears in it or the mattress protector. Had I known the slats were like this messy, I wouldnt have purchased but its here now and my mattress is here and Im tired of waiting. This will only be temporary until my base is back in stock but super disappointing to say the least. Ill update my review with more information once I get it together.
Edit: I put it together and it was quite easy. As it was time to put my mattress on, I opened the mattress protector just to be disappointed all over. It was advertised as a zippered waterproof mattress protector but it is not zippered. I reached out to the seller and they offered a partial refund to fix this issue. All in all the bed is a nice sturdy bed so I am updating my 1 star to a 4 star.

Negative / mattress protector is going right back to the seller. Nothing fit together. Poorly made pieces. Holes dont line up. Waste of my time.
Update: the seller will do whatever they can to make things right however itd probably be best for both seller and buyer to just check the frames before shipping. They offered to replace any parts but its too much of a hassle to go through and list off all the parts needed. 4 stars for going above and beyond for a customer.
We upgraded to a sized mattress that is VERY weighty. We needed a simple platform bed to carry us over until we move. This one, while in the box accompanied by a LOT of pieces, is more tedious than hard to assemble / and you get everything you need for assembly in the box. It also comes with a mattress cover for a bed, which is a nice bonus. Sturdy so far / no crea. Id give it a 4.5 stars, really, if possible.
Works great. Nice sturdy, a little difficult to put to gether husband had to read the directions. But once figure out it is great with spare parts just in case
Usually these frames allow for the mattress to sit in them so the mattress does not slide easily. This one does not even though the pictures make it seem like it did. My mattress now has to be repositioned everyday.
Too much to dismantle and send back, not to mention my bed would be on the floor.
This frame was more expensive than others I looked at.
Upon writing my concerns the seller did reach out to me and possessed excellent customer service.
I have upgraded my review and just hope that a better description can be updated for futures buyers.

Good Value, Slightly Tedious to Assemble,
