It was easy to assemble, and looks really good when its done. But the strong and durable in the description. Thats a laugh. The wood they claim its made from is very cheap particle board. Basically cardboard. Bought this for my 5 year old, and it lasted about a month. Then he sat in it and all the screws on the ripped out and it fell to the floor.
I read previous reviews before I purchased this bed frame because I needed something easy to put together that would hold up well. This bed frame turned out to be just what I needed. I am really not sure what the one guy was saying about 60,000 nuts and tons of plastic. There were minimal pieces of each. My 5 year old daughter and I put this together in about 30 minutes. Super easy to assemble, VERY sturdy, and definitely well made. I wont even need a box springthe frame is certainly sturdy enough to put a mattress on it without one. The frame also comes with a mattress protector, which is a nice bonus.
I love the look of the frame. It looks great in the room. It was easy to assemble with another person. I do wish the feet were slightly inset more, its VERY easy to stub your toes on them when wal around the bed.
