    Mildly Disappointed

Well, got it up and it works. The paint had scratches and chips on it. The welds look terrible. Number stickers were on the wrong pieces causing us to put it together incorrectly initially. It’s up and works, but could be sturdier and better labeled for easier assembly. It needs some triangles!

    Assembly isnt fun

My 11 year old daughter loves this bed, so I have to give it some stars on her behalf. She says her waist is too big and the opening is too small. That is her only complaint. It seems wobly when she climbs on it, but it doesnt bother her. Shes about 120 lbs, 56 tall. Now lets get to my opinion. -The instructions suck. They are picture only, which would be fine if the pictures were better. They show the letter or number for the parts, but they arent detailed enough to know which direction to make pieces go. It also switches between pictures where one picture on step 4 will show it from the front, then the next picture on step 5 will show the bed from the back. I ended up having to switch the 4 upright poles after it was 90% assembled because of this. - I cant imagine putting this together without a helper. I would say it is definitely a 2 person assembly. I had 2 helpers. -it is not reversible. Period. Make sure you are okay with the desk on the right and ladder on the left. - ALL of the screws are put in using a provided Allen wrench. By the time I was done, my hands ached from the hand turning with the Allen wrench. A few of the screws are in a spot where you have to turn a quarter turn, then reset your wrench. Super annoying. -overtightening is pretty easy. My super mom bod strength overtightened 2 of the screws which basically makes that fastened area useless. Overall it serves its purpose. I wouldnt recommend for bigger kids at all. Even the 70 lb 8 year old shakes it like cr

    In-Depth Review

STURDINESS: It will hold you and will not break. BUT it does start squeaking after a couple of weeks. The bars that you install to hold your mattress are just held by the sides without screws which is architecturally okay but causes there to be noise. If you wanna have someone else in your bed and are not the only person in your apartment/house, dont get this haha! ASSEMBLY: Okay so the assembly is a little bit tricky to understand at first, but youll get the hang of it. It took me 3-4 hours to assemble it but about an hour to unpackage and another hour to clean up the MESS this creates. All the parts come held together in styrofoam. This is usually the case and makes sense. HOWEVER, the styrofoam is not even remotely intact and was falling apart causing thousands of styrofoam crumbs to go everywhere. A massive pain to clean up. Assembly is fairly straightforward, though, but just takes time. PRACTICALITY: The height of the loft bed works really well for me. I built a desk underneath it (because I need a place for my piano keyboard and monitor to live) and I havent hit my head against the top once. Yes, I do have to duck to get under the bed (Im 510) but thats not a problem and youll not even notice it after a few days. I would definitely make sure to measure everything exactly before buying a desk to go under the bed so you dont have any fitting problems. LOOKS: Its a very simplistic loft bed that isnt bulky at all. I like it but dont see how a loft bed for this price can look amazing. Overall an 8/10 simply because the squeaking can be annoying when climbing on and off as well as any movement when atop the bed.

    Great for a tween bedroom

A screw or 2 was missing. 1 single Hole didnt line up perfectly but even with that the bed is very nice.

You get what you pay for

Finished building this for daughter. Was pretty easy, but instructions couldve been a bit clearer. I made three mistakes where struts were turned around because they only show the holes that were being connected so it was not clear on certain orientations. Putting in all the horizontal struts was a nightmare, as well. All fixable issues though, so I got it together. Seems pretty strong and feel it can hold plenty of weight, but its a bit wobbly with someone up on the bed. If you fasten to a wall, go into a stud. If you have an anchor in drywall, when it wobbles, can create enough torque to pull out the drywall if that is your only anchor. Oh yeah, do yourself a favor and get a torque bit for an electric drill to assemble, using the little allen wrench they supply will take you hours to build this. Overall though pretty nice, opens up the room nicely.

Pretty sturdy and very sleek looking, DEFINITELY the best bed to save storage spaces

Not the easiest to assemble, takes a few hours... since the only thing that can fit the screw head is the little hex key... But totally a space saver, the shelves on the side and at the end are excellent to put books and baskets. Saves money for buying extra bookcases and shelves.

Great for space saver in smaller rooms

Bought 2 (both for teenagers) and both were easy to assemble and work great. Clearance underneath is wonderful for smaller rooms that need extra storage space and desk is beneficial for remote learn days for homework area.

    Daughter loves her bed!

My daughter loves this bed. No negative issues, but it was just hard for my daughter and I to put together. I would definitely recommend and help.
