The lift / drop mechanism works perfectly, and theres a significant difference between the lowest and highest settings so these should pretty much suit anyone.
Finally, and most importantly, they look great and are very comfortable to sit on - with good padding.
Absolutely love these! So simple to put together, instructions are very clear and you get an allen key for the screws, assembled both in under 20mins.
Came really well packed, no damage whatsoever, they are light so easy to move around, but very sturdy at the same time, due to the materials that have been used.
There isnt a heavy base like the standard versions of these bar stools and that suits me as the previous versions were very heavy!

You can adjust the height of the stools to suit your height and the foot rests offer a better level of comfort than having dangling feet.
Overall, Im really pleased with these. I cant comment on value as the price had disappeared at the time of review, however they certainly look like you get what you pay for.
Definitely recommended, whether youre getting for a bar area, kitchen diner or other purpose.
These are wonderful kitchen stools, ideal for a breakfast bar or counter table.
These arrived in a large box, with each component part packaged inside the box. It had to be moved by two other people, and built by someone else due to its weight. I did however watch the building of them!
They took about half an hour to assemble both, and the instructions provide good detail. The gas lift seems the most complicated part of the assembly. The base is not that heavy, but they are sturdy enough once assembled. The chair seats are padded well, and although a small cushion is useful, they are well shaped seats. They can be adjusted about the height of a ruler (30cm/12ins) and the footrest is very useful.
The colouring is accurate in the sellers photographs and we actually covered them with an additional throw on each to match décor, although they are neutral in their own colouring.

We love these chairs, they look and feel excellent quality. They come in a smallish box and some assembly is required but it only takes 5 mins or so to build them up. Once built adjust the height using the lever underneath, chairs rotate 360 degrees and the height adjustability is really good with a big difference between high and low settings. The padding on the chair is well made and very comfy. Very happy with these chairs.

Back support + waist support + hip support + leg support, fully support the body curve, extremely comfortable sitting.
Easy to install, but remember to remove the black cap of the tube.

Really easy to assembly and although the seats are not leathe rthey look really high quality and are not slippy like leather ones can be.
Easy to clean with a damp cloth - and they have a rubber layer on the basse so they will not scratch your flooring or move around!
Be prepared for a heavy parcel to arrive, if you order a pair of these – about 18 kgs and 620 x 510 x 330 mm. That isnt a complaint but it may be useful to know. Id recommend opening the bottom of the box rather than the top, to make it easier to extract the contents. Having said that, the instructions and fixing bolts are at the top. But you can extract those once everything else is out, or open the top as well so that you can flatten the box when finished.
They go together easily enough and are comfortable, with more back support than on most bar stools. The gas struts work well although Ive found with others that they tend to stop maintaining the chosen height after a year or two. These may be better.
The leather has a pleasant, matte, slightly orange peel finish. Its similar to the look of matte paint applied with a roller. We like it. Were not sure about the quilted finish but its at least different. It wipes clean easily enough.
Regarding colour, be aware the black bases show every little speck of dust and dirt they pick up, so need frequent cleaning. White and grey seem better in that respect. Chrome is best but of course that needs polishing, so doesnt really help.
A word of warning, if you have young children about. They cant resist constantly swinging on bar stools that let them, crashing the backrests into whatever surface theyre sitting at, potentially damaging the leather. Fixed seats prevent that.

This set of 2 bar stools are perfect for breakfast bars or use in the kitchen. The bar stools can swivel 360 degrees and feature a padded PU leather back and adjustable height. Whilst not real leather, Id much prefer PU leather vs Bonded as this wont crack over time. The texture of this leather was very smooth and the overall quality of this was superb. The bar stools feature an excellent height range and they look great too. The bar stools have a nice sturdy base and dont shake or wobble. Assembly took all of 5 minutes, which just involves inserting the stem into the base and screwing the bottom of the seat to the leg rest via the bolts. The included footrest means you can use it with your kids also and provides good support for feet. These barstools feel really good in quality and priced at 159.99 for 2 (working out as ￡80.00 for one), its a decent price. There are cheaper options available on the market but these do compromise on quality and sturdiness or even height adjustments. These bar stools have simply blown me away!
