I would give this desk 6 stars if I could. Unfortunately, I have quite a bit of experience with assemble-at-home furniture and most of it has not been good. I was definitely apprehensive about this purchase based on some of the reviews that I read and my prior experiences. This desk, on the other hand, was much different. It is much more complicated than any piece that I have ever put together but the engineering is very impressive (everything fits) and the directions are pretty straightforward. They even include extra hardware (that has never happened before). The assembly came together without a hitch. Advice: Lay all of your parts out and match them to the parts list (its OK to make notes on the instructions). Inventory your hardware. Before you take anything out of the pack, determine where it is used in the assembly process. Read through the instructions....more than once. Become comfortable with them and the orientation of the pieces as represented in the instructions. Dont get in a hurry. Be patient and take your time. Go in stages. For the price this is a great looking, well-engineered piece of furniture. I am highly pleased with this purchase.
I didnt have to buy any parts, I was easily able to assemble it and it has been the best desk for the one year I have used it. Its simple and easy, Its enough for anyone who doesnt need a huge workspace. It is still in good condition after the many heavy objects (e.g. monitors, computers, laptops, and tablets) piling onto it. It was perfect for storing my art supplies and makeup. But now I need more workspace and storage space. The only criticism I have is that it was particularly wobbly when a lot of stress was on it, which is understandable.
Overall I love this desk it looks modern and matches my TV stand. I would wait till it goes on sale. Its very heavy so make sure you have help putting it together.

It's big and it gives you a very nice feeling
It has good resistance and looks very nice. The point to highlight is when putting one of the screws that go below be careful not to overtighten
