It was perfect for the first few weeks. But quickly the fabric color faded, the thin foam cushion flattened, and all you could feel was the rough wood base. Ive learned my lesson; dont buy cheap furniture.
We bought this to fill a small space in a finished room in our basement that Ive been making over. The idea was to make the room more comfortable, welcoming and inviting and a space where youd want to spend time and watch tv or have a cup of coffee and read a book. Especially on hot days when the basement is considerably cooler.
The couch fits the space great and looks great as well. I was surprised it came fully assembled and just required the legs to be screwed in. I was also able to move it to the basement by myself.
We just received it today, so only time will tell if its durable and was a good purchase. I love the look of it in our space. My only criticism initially is the back (which folds down) seems a little flimsy. Well see if that ends up being a problem or not.
I think this couch was NOT meant to lounge in. The design would fit better in a doctors waiting room.
However you can make it a bit more comfy by cutting 1.5 off the back legs, and maybe 1/2 off the front so that it gets a more ergonomic angle. The legs are made of wood, and I did it by just turning the couch on its front. You dont have to worry about being completely accurate in your measurements.
The back cushions are way too overstuffed. Get rid of the stuffing and put some down or memory pillows in the covers instead.
The seat is way too hard too, feels like an old spring mattress, but again, look for some memory foam pillows, 18 by 18 plus or minus to put on the seat.
This is much easier than trying to return it. I do agree that it is very overpriced, but to have it delivered by UPS to my front door in the middle of nowhere was wonderful. Thank you ! The UPS guy was not thrilled though.
Putting it together was easy, but you do need 2 people to do so.

I did order this futon to spruce up my craft room and it was worth the money. I read all comments regarding the futon sofa and it is firm but still comfy with a cozy blanket. It was delivered early and I only had to attach the legs- there are two extra legs in the zipper slits for lowering the back. My husband and I fit just fine on it and now my pets have tried take over- worth the buy!
I bought this to replace my over sized stuff chair that I couldnt get to fit upstairs.
Its light weight and was easy for two people to carry upstairs. The assembly was Twisting the legs on. Also there are hidden legs in the zippers on the back for when its laid flat. As far as comfy goes I would say its not much better than a dinner bench seat. But better than a park bench, that being said it is just like in the pictures.

Perfect love seat for small room. Nice quality. Way too small for an adult to sleep on but perfect for a kid.

Easy to assemble. Good looking piece.
It appears to be a very good item. However it came with a broken leg and I have emailed for a replacement leg.
