Would not recommend if you have little ones. It does shake a little when going up and down the ladder plus the ladder is a little to far apart for little ones to reach. Other than that I love it. I have a full size bed with a table under it. Looks great.
The bed is beautiful. It does move a little but is very sturdy. My granddaughters, ages 8 and 12 love it! They decorated it with rope light and it looks amazing. Building the bed is definitely a two-person job. It is not difficult to build. Instructions are easy to follow. However, wish you could warned us not to tighten the screws completely until both sides are assembled. Unfortunately, we did and had to undo the work to allow wiggle room to fit the opposing side then retighten all afterwards. It would be be helpful to know this in advance. Wish you would include two allen wrenches as both persons could be tightening screws at the same time and thus substantially expedite the building process. I would highly recommend this product.
Saw some negative reviews due to the sturdiness. I made sure all of the hardware was tight and I don’t have any issues. The ladder is hard on the feet, I plan on getting a pool noodle to place on the rungs. Easy to put together, lots of storage for my some LEGO’s and other toys. It’s pretty high, good to have an extra hand while making the bed. I’m 220lbs and climbed up to make it without any issues.
Wasnt sure what to expect since there werent many reviews at my time of purchase, but I took a chance because I liked the design and the price was right (even counting SandH costs). When it arrived, the box was naturally a little heavy (check the specs for weight) but its to be expected since this is a metal frame bed.
The interior was neatly organized and tied with plastic zip ties. Every piece comes wrapped in light plastic sleeves to prevent scratching. Once all the parts were removed and sorted (make sure to look out for the two little support pegs, as ours got buried in the unpacking) assembling the bed with my wife was simple enough. The screws are well labeled and screw in smoothly and easily. None of that funky IKEA-like hit-or-miss assembly. Everything was easy enough to understand from the instructions as long as you take your time and pay attention to the bed pieces. What I really like is that the bed supports and everything are labeled with a little sticker, so theres added confidence that youre putting things in the correct place.
This can be assembled solo, as well, but its faster and easier if you have an extra set of hands around to prop things up while you join opposing pieces together. Its really satisfying to snap the support bars into the bed platforms, and finally, to stick your twin mattresses in and see the kids enjoy their new bed.
One thing that I would have probably appreciated was an opening where the ladder meets the top foot (or head) of the bed. Instead my kids have to climb over the railing, which isnt a big deal, and would probably have compromised lateral stability, but it was the one thing I thought of when the assembly was finished.
My final recommendation is to buy some furniture casters or pads for hardwood floors if youre not planning on bolting this bed to a wall (the bed includes separate screws and tabs for securing this to a wall). Casters or rubber pads will spare your hardwood floors and also keep the bed more stable when the kids are on it. Id still recommend these even if the bed is on carpet. Other than that I have no complaints about this bed. Its a good value.
It was very easy to assemble, i did have to cut the height alittle because it was too tall for my room specifically, but i was able to fit two desks under it, and i did have to add poole noodles and duck tape to the ladders because it hurts to climb up, overall very sturdy and good, im 59 and weigh 200lbs, dont feel like im going to fall at all.
This was a great purchase. We bought it for our 6 and 8-year-old sons to use. Theres plenty of room on the bottom bunk for our oldest to sit up and still plenty of ceiling clearance on the top bunk. It was pretty easy to put together. My husband did most of it by himself and only needed me there for 1 step. The only real issue was some of the slat inserts on the frame were wonky, but my husband was able to put the slats in with some force.
My child weights 45 pounds and the bed moves a lot with every little movement my kid does.
I climbed up there to check it out and I wouldnt recommend it.
Doesnt feel safe or sturdy enough.
Good bed very sturdy I wiegh about 210 and I throw my two 30 pound dogs up there with me before I go to sleep. So it supports me and my 2 dogs. Only major problem is the should make a little slice open where you get on top with the ladder and or round the top bar. Also the ladder should have rounded rungs the pointy edges really hurt sometimes more so when your bigger and the dig into your feet. Overall great product for the price though.

It’s all in the assembly

Well-made bunkbed for kids

Not leveled right matress and kid slowly slide
It would have been a perfect bed for my needs if only the lower bes was leved and my kids matress and my kid didnt slowly slide off to the side
Very surprised with how well it turned out

Unable get missing parts
I like the bed. 1st of three bought went together great. Second had 21 missing parts which I have been unable to get. Guess I have to send 2 back.
