This was really easy to set up. The instructions say 20 min but I took around 45. (Did by myself, female)
The couch is on the firm side. The texture is like a velvet fabric. Honestly, the design isn’t super modern (looks a bit retro) and the colour is darker than in the pictures. I think it’s a solid couch though!
The back has 3 angles: straight up, 45 degrees, and fully down and it seems pretty solid (ie. it won’t accidentally fall down if I lean too hard)
I love this futon\sofa! It was very easy to assemble all the pieces came inside of the cushion. That should be came in two separate boxes or two separate days. I’ll put it together by myself with a toddler running around, so it must’ve been pretty easy. Only hangup, which I didn’t take any stars away from is it I don’t know how to get one of the back portions of the futon to recline. But I do get 1/2 down and my son can sleep on that side. Love love love! Will likely purchase another color for another space in the house.

- This couch actually looks just like the photos. Really beautiful and modern looking!
- The fabric is super soft! Feels luxurious for the price.
- Im not a fan of firm couches (but I had read the reviews so was ready for something super firm- especially at this price point) I was pleasantly surprised that it is softer than expected.
- The back has three settings- straight up, reclined, and flat. The two sides of the back can be moved independently.
- I can lay comfortably across this bed - its a little bigger than a twin.
- With a couple pillows and blankets, this would probably be decently comfortable to lay on for a night or two!
- Was delivered quicker than expected.
Cons/ Unexpected:
- It is low to the ground... very low. Im 53 and if I dont sit with my back against the rest my knees are up at an awkward angle.
- The back rest is very very short. It sits at about the bottom of my shoulder blades.
- If youre setting this up alone, be aware that flipping it over is a little tricky because the middle is only held together by two legs.
Overall, are there more comfortable couches out there? Probably. But at this price point, the style and comfort likely cant be beat.

My husband and son built it in less than half an hour, it’s sturdy, and comfortable both to sit on and lay down when used as a futon. It’s firm, and I prefer to sleep on a form mattress so this works for us. We have it in our bedroom and it’s a wonderful addition.

Just had my first night sleeping on it and I just have a comforter blanket under me and I had some great sleep. I will be sleeping on this for a while while I move and I think it will be doable for sure. Its definitely more on the firm side but I dont think its a problem for the price, set up, look, feel, and what it is capable of doing (3 set reclining).
It seems very sturdiness and set up was VERY easy, like 30-40 mond with 2 people, not heavy. I left the armrests unscrewed fron the couch so that I can slide them on and off when I like.
For size reference I am 58 (68in) and I can perfectly stretch out on it since it is around 69in in length. Id say its definitely a Twin XL size too (my twin XL comforter set fits well with very little gapping. Its also kinda low to the ground for my height but its realistic for a sofa bed so my expectations are at an understandable point.
I did research for weeks comparing the look, price, and reviews for over 20 sofa beds here on and this was the winner for me and I am happy with my purchase. This was one of the only beds from the group that had a smooth surface (instead of the puffy pillow-like surface) and I think that really matters as you can feel every indent in on of those other types (atleast from what reviews say).
Also DO NOT get the $299 deal if you see it cuz the shipping is like $49 and thats basically $20 more than if you got it for the original price with the free shipping (abou t $360 vs $381). I got its at the original price with free shipping and it came in 2 days after my order date! Super fast!!
Overall, I give:
8/10 for comfort (more firm but still soft)
9/10 for length (fits 58 perfectly)
9/10 for sturdiness (seems durable but will update if something breaks)
7/10 for height (understandably low)
10/10 for width (VERY WIDE as a bed, room to sprawl. A true full XL size.)
10/10 for features (detachable arms, 3 type reclining, smooth surface)
10/10 for price (competitive pricing, 2 day shipping, not cheap looking)
*BONUS!: the couch has pockets under it thAt held the armrests. I can use it for storage as it is VERY spacey haha
I know this was long but I hope I helped someone make a great and informed decision as something like this is an investment. I will update as I continue my use with this as a bed each night and/or something changes .
Personally I like it. For small couch for one or two people its perfect. Its easy to build and its great for smaller apartments like mine. I give this 4 stars because its not the most comfortable thing to sit on for hours but what are yah gonna do? It serves its purpose and I dont regret buying this product. Highly recommend.

Easy to Assemble but need comfy cushions
It’s easy to assemble. But there was a tear on the couch. However there needs to be cushions.

Affordable and cute
Great couch but shorter than expected
Its very simple and its very easy to build. Not the most comfortable.
