Mine came with no damaged pieces which was fortunate as trying to return this thing would be difficult
I purchased the 58 in espresso. I was trying to buy a used tv stand locally but finally got fed up and purchased this piece new. I have had my 55 TV on it for only a couple of days now and I am enjoying it. The instructions for assembly were fairly straight forward, the pictures can be a little small though (hard to tell what screw or dowel to use in which diagram) BUT a closer inspection of the instructions noted that all the parts are number and letter coordinated so pay attention to that. It recommends using the provided wood glue on the dowels to help keep them in but I found it does not really need the glue. So long as you take the time to hand tighten the screw head locking cam locks, the finished piece seems very solid. I just saved the glue for future projects. Mine came with no damaged pieces which was fortunate as trying to return this thing would be difficult. It also comes with stickers to cover up screw holes and I will say I was impressed by how well the stickers match the color and grain. I absolutely needed the cable holes in the back for each shelf and these work great. I believe you could fit a 60 or 65 TV on this stand but I think the latter would be pushing its limits depending on the style of stand your specific TV has.
Overall it looks great, seems solidly constructed, and does everything I need it to. As a side note, a standard PS4 will be able to face forward with the cables exiting the cable holes with only a half inch or so of overhang off the front of the unit (not noticeable, really).
