Its a sturdy chair but pretty uncomfortable if you plan to lay on it the entire night. I had to buy a twin mattress topper to soften it a bit. What I do like is that it lays flat and that its long enough so your feet wont dangle. I am 54 and my husband is 510 so it works for us. Good,
