Easy to assemble. I hate putting stuff together and me and my 15 year old did this in about 2 hours. My little boys love it. They are 5 and 7. I can lean over and kiss my son goodnight on top bunk. Height is perfect and safter. Great value for the money. Sturdier than I expected
