What You See Is What You Get We were looking for a bigger bed for our five year old daughter, and I stumbled across this one. We wanted something she could use now and in the near future, and thought the shorter loft option was pretty cool (and safer!). We had her pick from a few and she chose this one immediately.
Assembly wasnt terrible, and everything feels super sturdy. The top of the bed comes up to just under my armpit, and the top of her mattress comes up to my hip. I am 59, 155lbs, and have slept comfortably in the bed with her. Weve had it for about a month now and have no complaints. She uses the area underneath to read and play, and thoroughly enjoys her new big girl bed with the ladder. This bed has definitely exceeded our expectations!
