Its not a solid steel vault-like safe. But if you just want a nice sturdy and secure place to store some guns, this works great. It should be bolted to a wall or floor due to not being really heavy, about 90lbs empty, plus it makes it less likely to tip or move. The quality and finish are very good for the cost. The locking mechanism functions well and is easy to operate. I did have a little issue with some damage due to shipping but the company was friendly and quick to correct the issue. For me, it was a good purchase and just what I needed. I recommend this product to if it suits your needs and also the company as their customer service is great.
