Obviously not a heavy duty gun safe per se, nor does it offer fire protection--but again for the money, its sturdy enough and provides a better alternative than stowing your shotgun or AR 14 under the bed.
Was concerned about shipping, as had noted others had received damaged cabinets-and yes, Fed Ex provided a scuffed-up box with a hole in the side, but the unit itself was unscathed, thanks to the protective inserts and bubble wrap.
So yes, pleased with the purchase.
