I was in need of a reasonably priced gun safe for my home. I spent a few months researching many others while reading tons of reviews. This Moutec safe caught my eye because of its size, features and ease of use. I own four guns but wanted to be sure that any safe I purchased would meet my needs. After proper installation, I achieved a more secured organization for my ammo, handguns and rifle within this one unit. On top of that, it was a great purchase, exactly as described and even better than I expected!! The packaging was excellent, the safe is super sturdy and fits perfectly in the space I placed it. I used the enclosed wall anchors to brace it securely to the wall. I added a magnetic spice rack inside to hold my magazines, three stick on motion sensor battery-powered led lights inside for illumination, and one motion sensor light for the outside keypad. I highly recommend this gun safe and youll be surprised like I was. Their customer service is outstanding and they reach you promptly to insure that you are a satisfied customer. I wish many other companies did that!
Now, I must talk about this very bad experience dealing with shipping by FedEx. My delivery was prompt but the FedEx delivery driver made a huge mistake and delivered the safe to the wrong address. At that time, I didnt know where the safe was, but I knew I hadnt received it. I was really pissed because the FedEx website said it was delivered but my package was missing. Imagine the feeling when you open your door and its not there!!! Upon further investigation, I also noticed on the FedEx tracking website that signature was not required. So now Im saying to myself where the hell did the FedEx driver deliver it? I knew I wouldnt get any relief from FedEx because theyre going to say it was delivered to my address. Then, about 3 hours later my door bell rings, low and behold, the safe was delivered a few houses away from me and it was one of my neighbors two sons at the door with it. Im glad that I have honest neighbors and they respected the fact that it was delivered to them in error. After experiencing the FedEx delivery fiasco, I located the Moutec paperwork attached to the safe and sent an email to them explaining what had happened with the delivery error and I let them know that they should require a signature for all their future deliveries. Alan from their company replied that he agreed. So now all customers will probably have to sign for their package which should help with proper delivery.
