This safe gets the job done. Keeps the guns out of the hands of the kids. The safe in not really that heavy, so it could be possible for someone to haul it away in the event of a burglary. However, I have made this much harder by having it mounted to a wall stud. So please make sure you mount it. I love that it has a shelf for more storage.
The only complaint is that even though the door seems pretty solid, its a bit flimsy at the hinges. When you are putting in the code, it will rattle and make noise. Not a huge deal. Overall happy with the purchase.
