I am not a big gun nut, but I am a licensed carrier, and I needed a safe to protect my AR-15 with scope, two 9mm handguns and ammunition from thieves, my grandkids, friends, and visitors. All my grandkids have been taught gun safety and we have a review when they visit. My home is guarded by many sensors and cameras with backup power. Even though it comes with expansion bolts and pre-drilled holes (bottom and back) to attach to a wall and the floor I set my safe in a corner of my walk-in master bedroom closet and drilling through the 14-gage steel which took some effort and mounted the safe to both the back and side wall studs and to the floor using the two pre-drilled holes. It would take a lot of effort to move or open this safe. I like that the user code can be up to 8 digits, the automatic lock feature, and that it comes with an external battery pack.
