Ok Value but came dented and difficult to close door.
Its a good value for what you get but there are some draw backs.
The Good: The additional mini compartment for other valuables is great. It adds another level of security for other items like cash, passports, jewelry, and other smaller items. The adjustable shelf is great so you can match it to the length of rifles you store below. Combo lock is simple to use and set up and the additional battery pack gives you a good back up in case the batteries die on you.
The Bad: The Safe came dented from shipping. I added a picture so you can see the dent. Im not sure if the dent lead to this problem but I wouldnt doubt it, but the door on the safe would not easily close or open! The bottom edge of the door dragged in and out of door jam. Very frustrating until I bolted it into the wall, but its still tough to open and close without using some force! The foam insert to rest the rifles came disfigured. The combo lock was a little temperamental trying to program it at first and was inconsistent accepting the combo, but it seemed to be fine towards the end.
Overall 2 Stars. The safe is a good value for what you get, easy to use and has some nice features. BUT the dent and the safe door that wont smoothly open or close, really killed it for me! I really needed a safe and was forced to keep it due to need, otherwise I would have asked for an exchange.
