This safe is pretty righteous. It checks all of my boxes and fulfills my needs. I like the fact that it has a shelf and an internal lock Box. Programming the keypad was a breeze and I was very surprised by the fact that they supplied batteries.I was looking for something to give me peace of mind and have everything contained in one general location.If you are thinking about purchasing one of these you will need to understand that this is not a $1000 fortified safe. The locking mechanism is very robust on the front door. I do wish the sides and back of the safe were a bit thicker steel, but honestly for the price point I dont think you could make a better choice. Lock them up and keep the riff raff out. Customer service was super stellar and very easy to work with.
