While this is listed as a safe, I think its more of a gun cabinet. I definitely think its great to keep weapons out of any unwanted peoples hands, however, with enough effort, any novice thief can most likely open it. Overall, I would recommend the safe if you have children in the home, as well as, to just have the guns locked up.
