I looked all over for a chair that was higher than 21 inches to fit with my executive desk. I used to use a pillow to raise up my old executive chair. This worked out perfectly in height. I can comfortably sit at my desk and not worry about constantly adjusting my pillow. The bonus for me was the arms, which fit comfortably under the desk. No more dealing with arms rests that hit the wood when pushed in or scrape when I turn if I am sitting close. The leather is not real but it is soft to touch and doesnt look cheap. No complaints, really happy
