easy enough to put together that my wife got it done in a couple hours w/o assistance (though I will say shes the handier one in the house; might have taken me longer). stable enough that my kids can play (gently!) on it without it rocking around, even without being affixed to the wall. Fits the twin mattress perfectly, and fits OVER the king mattress with just enough room to easily swap the fitted sheets.
