Its a must that you are careful, the pieces are easy to Break if you arent watching what you are doing. Until I get some replacement pieces Ill have to make do with my mistakes. But this bed is great and will do me a lot of good, as I have a small space to sleep. I was able to get it put together on my own, so if you are ambitious enough it can be done, but generally speaking its a two person job. This item is good! Satisfied.
