I bought this bed for my almost 3 year old and it is way too high off the ground for him. The mattress goes almost as high as the siderail, so he could easily fall out. The stairs are challenging and he is scared to go up. This is a nice bed for an older child as it is nice quality. I am trying to now figure out what to do with this bed: sell or cut the legs down?.
