When this bed arrived, the boxes were destroyed. Several pieces were damaged; including the doors. We were also missing the drawer bottom for the desk drawer. My husband went to the hardware store, and bought wood to make one after reading reviews about their costumer service. The ladder is very uncomfortable to climb as it is straight up and down with no where to hold on to. My daughter has asked that we make her a new ladder. Everything else about the bed is awesome, and my daughter loves the hideout! Overall, the good outweighed the bad. The bed is very sturdy, and pretty easy to put together. Make sure to put it together where you will have the bed. It is heavy. My son loves it!!
