My daughter (4) loves her new bed! It is sturdy enough that I can lay in the bed with her until she falls asleep. The sides are high enough that I do not have to worry about her falling off the bed. The hide away area is perfect for a book nook or a mini clubhouse. We purchased color changing light strips and adhered them to the bottom of the bed in the play area. Packaging was not damaged when they arrived, and neither were any of the beds parts.
Issues: It took a full day to put the bed together, but opening one box at a time made it easy. It said not to use a power drill, however, we set ours to sensitive and had to use one. The holes were not predrilled. They are marked, but my husband had to predrilled them in order to not damage the wood or ruin the screws.
That being said everything else went together smoothly. Very easy to set up!
