This is a super sturdy platform bed. We were looking for something for our kids college apartment and this worked out great. Provides plenty of support without using a box spring. Assembly is pretty easy but takes 30 min or so. Only negative is that the non slip pans for the bottom fall off immediately, otherwise this was a great buy.
