Its a solid frame. I got two, and it took a little over an hour to assemble both.
A few notes: get some wood glue and glue your dowel joints. The compression and extra screws is probably enough to keep it together, but a dab of glue on each dowel is a game changer as far as sturdiness. Also plan on finishing it with polyurethane, linseed, or tung oil. Its raw wood. It will degrade over time without initial treatment. Could also stain it if you have the time.
Outside of that this is a great purchase. Made in the USA, which I like to see, and the quality shows.
