We bought these for our daughters (8 10). Its ok for the 8 year old, but I think our 10 year old will grow out of this quickly. The dresser is very shallow. I can only fit 3 sweaters in one drawer / we joke that it might end up being used for doll clothes! The ladder entrance is really skinny. My 10 year old only weighs 65 lbs and her hips barely fit through.
It was easy to put together, but time consuming. My husband also used wood glue to add more stability to the connections.
The girls like the desk, which is larger than I anticipated. Overall, a good product so far, but meant for kids under 12. Pretty disappointing purchase for the price.
