For about 150 its worth it for the utility and looks
First of all, for about 150 Im very happy with what I got. Its sturdy, good looking and shipping without any damage.
A lot of one star reviews for the product that Ive seen are almost always complaining about the build time and the complexity. Pay them no mind when making your decision. No, it will not take 45 minutes, it will take longer if you want to take your time and make it look like it does in the photos and function well.
Also if you can build IKEA furniture then you can build this, they both use very similar methods and hardware. The one minor complaint I had with the instructions is some of the photos were missing some key features as references when changing views or orientation. This I was able to work around though because they provided an exploded view of the whole piece as a reference.
The other problem I had was the handle hardware.it was cast and spray painted plastic. At least with our variant. I highly suggest going to your local hardware store and getting better handles because it improves the look 10 fold. The spacing from center to center was a pretty common size so it wasnt difficult to find replacements.
Overall:
For 150 youre getting a great piece that would otherwise cost hundreds. Yes it will take some time to build and can be confusing at times but if you take your time, do it right; you will get a piece that will last you quite some time, look good and be totally functional. I recommend it highly.
