If youre a large person, try cardboard between the mattress and frame for proper support.
After 6 months of use, this frame is still sturdy, I removed 1 star of rating because Ive found I have to place a piece of cardboard under the mattress to prevent the mattress from sinking through the slats. It is a small issue, and would not change my choice in bed frames. I almost bought a new mattress thinking mine was at the end of its life after 5 years of use. Glad that isnt the case. Nice well made.
