It was easy enough for an adult to put together, though it took a couple of hours. It looks nice, and my daughter loves it.
But I would have preferred something a little more sturdy. It sways quite a bit when I lean on it with the slightest pressure. At over 200lbs, I would not feel at all comfortable climbing onto it even for a minute. But its fine for my 11yo.
The ladder steps are also big enough that the cats get up and down with little difficulty. It was packaged nicely
