Easy assembly. Easy to put together and it looks really nice! I will say the only problem was that they sewed the do not remove under penalty of law tag into the middle of the back of the daybed! I carefully removed as to not create larger holes but I can see them. Not hugely noticeable but its there. If its against a wall then no problem but I have this piece as my sofa and its centrally situated. The dark blue is harder to match exactly. I used a 5 inch gel mattress on top. I had bought an 8 inch but it seemed too tall being even with the sides. I used the 8 inch for the trundle and its a squeeze. Anyway, its nice and Im happy with it.
