Looks solid, easy to assemble. My son is ecstatic with his new bed frame. Its not squeaky at all. My only issue with it was when putting it together the bars where the mattress sits REALLY hard to fit in and required alot of pressure to pull them into place. I do like that you can put the ladder on either side.
