If you have put together any similar style furniture this table is not too bad. As far as cheap particle board furniture goes this table is on the nicer end. The and hinges for the flip top are very easy to line up. I dreaded this step but it was actually very easy to do by my self. I would say im an average level handy man. Once together the table feels fairly stable. I am very happy with the purchase. I use the to hold all my controllers for game consoles and the flip top works perfectly as a make shift desk/dinner table in my recliner. No regrets here at all.
