The assembly is tedious, but fairy straight forward if you are a visual learner. I did this by myself and it took a little under 2 hours. Oh and I would recommend an electric screwdriver, my hands HURT after using the tiny manual one they give. The wood is pretty sturdy, except the bottom of the seem flimsy. Overall, I am happy with this purchase.
