Bought for my dorm room, and pleasantly surprised. Im 235lb and I bought the twin over full unit, going in with a skeptical mind. Thought it may be a little unstable, as many of the metal bed frames I have purchased before have certainly had some sway to it. This unit is extremely sturdy (even with my weight on it / bottom only). Since I have limited space in the dorm I use the top bunk for extra storage, having added a sheet of plywood up top. Getting the box and opening it, it could seem extremely cumbersome. I consider myself fairly handy, and even I was considering scrolling through my phone book for someone to call. I ended up just diggin into it myself and Ive got to say, while it did take like 3 hours to do, the instructions are extremely straight forward and no additional tools are needed. Even comes with extra pieces if you happen to misplace one (AS I DID). Im a very economical shopper (aka stingy )/ all jokes aside, bang for the buck wise/ this will not be beat. One thing Ill mention is do not get any mattress over the recommended thickness (8). I didnt read that part and bought a 12 mattress, so the gap between the mattress and the top bunk is like 26. Can feel quite claustrophobic when you go to adjust your blanket and your hand hits the top bunk ( EVERYTIME). That was simply my fault for not reading it, but even with an 8 you may or may not run into the same problem. Either way, the bottom bunk isnt anything you could sit upright in and watch a show or anything. Thats the only downfall. Very nice.
Best bang for your buck/ read
