The varnish (chair is quite glossy) has a very strong smell the first week or so. Like nail polish? Distracting, and it cant be good for you.
It might also be a bit flimsy, as it creaks practically right out of the box. I think itll survive a while as an everyday desk chair, but I weight less than 120 lbs., so your mileage may vary.
The seat height is comparable to that of other folding chairs -- that is, lower than that of normal chairs.
But I must say, it looks just like the pictures and is absolutely beautiful.
