The platform bed was all contained in the zippered headboard. All hardware was included and there were no surprises putting it together. Instructions were quite clear and once all Allen bolts were secured, the bed frame is rock solid. We have a 15 inch mattress which leaves an ideal headboard reveal. We are quite pleased with the purchase.
