Wanted a bike that I could ride that could handle my weight.

It got this model on sale through . I had researched over a dozen different makes and models. My first concern was the weight they would handle, because Im well over 200lbs. When we got it, of course it needed assembly, which was pretty quick, but we wanted it to be perfect, so we took about 12 hours total to check everything on the bike, from pedals, brakes, shifting, handle bars, and ride. It worked right the very first time. Im 62, so my core was really out of shape and since Id had medical problems in the past, I rode around on the grass in the back yard. What a work out! Much better an any stationary bike, and Ive owned two! Ive ridden it, now that I can go a bit further than a mile, downtown on the side streets, up and down hills, and steadily making progress in strength, balance, endurance (more lung expansion), and enjoyment. Definitely recommend this bike, surprisingly. Id always heard foreign bikes were better made, stronger, etc. This one does weigh a bit, but on the road.not even noticeable. If you are in it for exercise, the weight of the bike is minor.and it appears to have a very strong steel frame. The front forks have a nice shock absorber like motorcycles do, and thats nice keeping the bump jarring to a minimum.
