I have a standard older colonial center stair house. For years Ive put the laundry basket in the hallway outside the bedroom on a bookcase. Well this cute little table allows me to put a small laundry basket down on the bottom shelf, but have the top shelf available for a drop spot of things to take downstairs so I dont forget it. But IT IS small enough to look like it belongs there, not the big clunky thing Ive had there. The color is great because it it an off white and with the off white painted walls it looks smaller, etc. Hung one of my pictures over it and now the hallway does not look like the catch all that it looked like before. It was incredibly easy to put together.
