This platform came in two shipments totalling four boxes, two of the boxes are identical and the first box I opened had a sticker stating box 1/4. That was the box with the instructions. The instructions were fairly clear to understand. Make sure you assemble this in the room you want it in and make sure you have an extra 4/5 feet of clearance beyond where the bed will go to use as an assembly area because you are building three sections separately then assembling them in place. It is very sturdy despite the individual sections being quite light. I only gave it 4 stars because during assembly I came across two spots that had knots in the wood, yes these are wood not particle board. These two knots just happened to be where screws needed to go so it split the wood. I intend to keep the bed despite this because they are in locations that are not visible and do not affect the stability. If not for that I would have given five stars. Suggestion for seller / manufacturer this value and usefulness of this item could be greatly improved if you could build it in a way that the empty void under the bed could be made accessable by the buyers for storage, in my case I would slide in an under bed gun safe. Perhaps on the side sections add a swivel and latch on opposite side so that the side sections can swing away allowing access to that void. Outside of that I love this item great job. This item is good! Satisfied.
