I got the single shelf Queen bed frame. I had measured carefully before buying because I wanted to make sure it would be close to where the window sill is. Its perfect! I assembled this by myself using a battery screw gun and 2 star bits (two different sized screws). It does come with wrenches, but using the gun saved a lot of screwing. It took me about an hour and a half. It would have gone faster if I had someone to help hold things while getting the screws started for the larger sections. I hand tightened the screws before tightening with the screw gun on each section of the instructions before going to the next step. My mattress is about 13 tall and goes up part way on the headboard, with stacked pillows they almost reach the top. The only thing I didnt like is the shin guards for the corners of the footboard are kind of cheap rubber/foam and the double sided tape was almost impossible to peel the backings off of. But they dont show anyway with the blanket over it. Overall great buy and Im happy with it. Beautiful and Sturdy.
