I will say I dont personally know how easy it was. It took my dad and stepmom about an hour to put together and my dad said hed have been really mad if all he had was the tools it came with. He said having a power tool made it far more easy. He also needed my stepmom to hold up certain pieces while attaching things. So you will want two people. But now that its together its adorable and very sturdy. Very impressed with the quality.
