Very easy to assemble. Everything needed for assembly included plus extra pieces. The bed looked exactly as expected and exceeded my expectation. I was worried that for the price it may be a bit cheap looking but I was pleasantly surprised. I bought the grey bed but ended up spray painting it a vintage bronze color for a more antique look. The finish holds the spray paint well
