I may change my review. Not sure if this a company oops or and oops but the description says 8 sturdy ribs. So that is what I expected, but the picture and a graphic shows six. It only did have 6. I really wanted 8 to combat the ever unpredictable Midwest weather. Im going to keep it because Im over searching for umbrellas...so we shall see how it holds up.
