We needed one low to the floor for our senior dog, and this one fits the bill perfectly. It is adjustable in height, so we set it to the lowest setting at 6 inches. It will go up to 11 inches if Im not mistaken. It is very sturdy and has tons of support. No box springs needed! The bed had very easy assembly and looks aming with the rug we chose!
